Ana Yoder Coulter is a piano teacher and collaborative pianist in Northern Indiana. She has nearly two decades of experience teaching students of all ages both group and individual lessons, in private studio and university settings, and enjoys many musical collaborations with singers, instrumentalists, and choral ensembles. Ana operates a private piano studio out of her home in Goshen, Indiana, and works as an applied piano instructor and staff pianist in the Music Department at Goshen College. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and currently serves as Recital Chair for the South Bend Area Music Teachers Association (SBAMTA).

 

Ana completed her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio where she was a graduate assistant in the class piano area. She obtained her BA from Goshen College, where she focused her music degree in piano pedagogy and taught piano through the Community School of the Arts.

A few past work engagements include collaborative pianist at Interlochen Center for the Arts, pianist for Toledo Opera Children’s Summer Camp, adjunct professor of music and staff pianist in the Bluffton University Music Department, piano instructor at The Studio Connection in Bowling Green, Ohio, and keyboard artist for the Camerata Singers 2021-2022 season. When not teaching or playing piano, Ana enjoys running and walking outdoors, catching up with friends, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
